Unfortunately not. We are constantly looking for ways to make Solbio even more user-friendly. These alternatives must first and foremost be good for nature. Tablets are almost always individually wrapped in plastic, often the kind that ‘dissolves in water’. Newsflash: that is not possible. Plastic is transformed by the water into microplastic that ends up in nature via our drains. For the time being, we have not yet found a tablet form that is also environmentally friendly.
For now, we only use pouches. These bags are eco-friendly, flexible and prolong the shelf life. The packaging is 100% recyclable in Belgium so you can just toss it in the recycle bin. It probably is in your country too, but be sure to check the local regulations. The flexibility of the pouch has a storage advantage: the more you use, the smaller it gets.
Imagine if we were to tell you that it contains antifreeze? (To be clear: no!) Solbio can freeze from 0°C, but that is not harmful. There is even extra space provided in the packaging, so that the bag does not tear when the liquid expands. After defrosting, shake well before use.
Yes, it does. Just add a little extra in your tank when it gets really hot and empty your tank every two days. That should do it.

Absolutely! Solbio is made from 100% natural ingredients: plant extracts, citric acid, natural soap and essential oil. We are also very proud of our Ecogarantie label. This means that our toilet fluid is 100% organic and completely free of petrochemicals, synthetic substances and GMOs (genetically modified organisms). This is the strictest independent ecolabel on the European market. We also produce Solbio in an environmentally conscious way, using renewable energy and minimal waste. The packaging itself is 100% recyclable in Belgium: simply throw the bag in your PMD. Even after your toilet visit, nature is not averse to it. You can even empty your cassette in your compost and use it as fertilizer.
Your eyes are a sensitive part of your body, so it is better to rinse them with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. If necessary, also remove your contact lenses. Always consult a doctor if in doubt or if symptoms persist. Note: Did you get toilet fluid in your eye while emptying your mobile toilet? Then the contents of your cassette are a mixture of Solbio and waste products. These can contain bacteria and pose a risk to your health. Always consult a doctor if in doubt or if symptoms persist.
Good question! Solbio is the world's first 100% organic toilet fluid. It is a natural alternative to a chemical toilet. Our unique formula consists of four ingredients: plant extracts, citric acid, natural soap and essential oil. It provides the necessary hygiene and a fresh eucalyptus scent while camping. You can mainly use it in your toilet and cassette, but also in your grey and flush water tank. Unlike a chemical toilet, you can discharge your cassette anywhere. Also in a toilet, even if it is connected to a bio purification plant. In addition to Solbio Original, there is also Solbio Marine. This variant smells like orange, has a more powerful effect for larger tanks and also works in salt water. Ideal for on your boat.
Solbio is intended for every portable toilet. The one in your caravan, campervan, RV, bus, train, boat or plane. It's also perfect for your porta potty.
Without a doubt. We are aware that natural alternatives often work less efficiently than chemical ones. So we have extensively tested, refined and compared our formula with the best-selling chemical toilet fluids worldwide. We can say with certainty: Solbio is just as powerful. Do not underestimate nature.
Solbio Marine is an extra strong version of Solbio Original. Marine can be used everywhere, but is specifically designed for boats. They often have an extra large tank on board and sometimes use salt water for rinsing. Solbio Marine is therefore extra strong and works in both fresh and salt water. In addition, this variant smells like orange. So if you prefer a citrus scent, you can use Marine perfectly in your porta potty, caravan, camper or mobile home. Even in your train or plane.
Absolutely. The idea for Solbio arose from a concern for nature and for ourselves. A chemical toilet is a small space full of artificial and often harmful substances. Our skin inevitably comes into contact with them and we even breathe them in. What are the long-term effects of this? We would rather not find out for ourselves. Nature is of course not served by this either. You discharge your cassette full of blue (or green) stuff into a discharge point, but what happens to it afterwards? We can explain it to you in detail with a PowerPoint, but it comes down to this: the chemical substances cannot be completely broken down and end up in nature. Solbio is a 100% natural product and contains no harmful substances. That makes it 100% safe for your health, your toilet and nature.
In each part. Solbio toilet fluid is actually four products in one. You can use it in grey and flush water tanks and it cleans your cassette and toilet automatically. Tadaa! Moreover, you do not need much fluid for an optimal effect. This is the recommended amount per tank capacity:
Wherever it is socially acceptable. Solbio is 100% organic and can therefore biodegrade anywhere. Please note that it will contain residual waste from yourself and from the toilet paper. So only dispose of your cassette in a place where you would also take off your pants. Ideally in a toilet. You can also cut out Solbio after use in your garden on the compost heap and use it as fertilizer.
Our pouch works just like a crate of wine: hold the bag with one hand and press the button with the other. For one dose, press the button for two seconds. The bag is also environmentally friendly, flexible and ensures a longer shelf life. The packaging is 100% recyclable: you simply throw everything in your PMD. The flexible packaging allows you to store Solbio anywhere. And the more you use, the smaller the bag becomes.

Absolutely. If you are not satisfied with Solbio, you can simply return the product. The only condition is that the packaging is at least 3/4 full. Look at you! (video vervangen door https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7yfISlGLNU) Sorry. But: good news! Solbio Marine is specifically designed for your mobile toilet on the water. Boats often have an extra large tank on board and sometimes use salt water to flush. Marine is therefore extra strong and works in both fresh and salt water. In addition, this Solbio smells like orange. However, Solbio Marine is suitable for any mobile toilet. Also for your porta potty or in your caravan, camper or mobile home. Even in your train or plane.
We do our utmost to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. Of course we need packaging, but our pouches are 100% recyclable in Belgium. Often abroad too, but check the local regulations first. In order to keep up with the latest developments in recycling in different countries, we seek advice from organizations that specialize in circularity. In Germany we work together with Grüne Punkt (registration number 5611897), in Belgium with Fost Plus (registration number 011253) and in France with Citeo (registration FR343039_01HLRC). If you sort a lot, they might make a new garden bench from your used bags. Thank you! 1 dose = 4 centiliter. Don't worry, you don't have to carry measuring cups around. For one dose, press two seconds. One Mississippi, two Mississippi
Always consult a doctor in case of doubt or persistent symptoms. Do you have a contact allergy? Are you hypersensitive to specific fragrances or essential oils? Then first perform a skin test. Mix a drop of Solbio with some vegetable oil and apply to the crook of your elbow. If you are allergic to Solbio, you will notice skin irritation after one day.
